  We picked up a couple of pizzas here on Wednesday (Two-for-one pizza day). They had only one size ("Extra Large") which would probably pass for a large in other establishments. I probably wouldn't have felt I got my money's worth if it wasn't 2-for-1. However, I must say the pizzas were absolutely delicious! They must use quality cheese and toppings, and the crust was perfectly cooked. The staff were friendly as well. Look forward to going back.

  Used to love this place and the drive was worth it. The last time I went though, they must have changed their recipe because the meat lovers was no longer loveable. Now, instead of ordering a greek salad, we had to use a salad bar which was too expensive unless all I was eating was a salad.
  
  Going to drive up to Gimli today for lunch, but will be looking for a new place because Whitecaps was such a disappointment last time.

  All food is prepared from scratch. It is family owned and operated. They have specials every two weeks. You can see the lake. M.D. wouldn't know good food if it jumped up and bit her in the cl..ass. This is now a serve yourself fast food restaurant. The specials make this place even more special and the food is sooooooooooo delicious. It is worth it!

  It was serve yourself, after I ordered my food, I then had to grab everything for eating, myself; cutlery, napkins, condiments, drinks. Shouldn't that be part of dining out, that you're supposed to have things set up for you? I could have cooked a better meal myself, and done all the work properly at home. This was a waste of time and money in my opinion. This is supposed to be a family owned restaurant with a small town charm and family feel, however it was not this at all. The food was not as "homemade" as one of the ladies had said, presentation was awful, and everything was flash fried, deep fried, and overly greasy. One of the owners spoke about her injury very loudly and used language around our small child that was not appropriate. I will never eat here again. I hate it. ALWAYS GO TO KRIS' FISH AND CHIPS WHEN YOU GO TO GIMLI.
